I get annoyed by people who say "Akajasdaf!! Get a life and draw ur own arts!!!11!! It takes no skillz to draw on baasez draw your own art stupid!!1!!"

Let me tell you... drawing on a base and making it look unique, creative, and good, is not easy. It takes skill and practice. I have spent hours on bases before. So let me tell you, it's a form of art my friends.

BTW, this is a completely new media of artwork for me. I do plan on eventually making my own bases and creating from that as soon as I get the gist of how colors and shading work for dills. This was in case one of you anti-base people decided that you want to attack me through comments. I can also create my own art work on other sources such as paper, canvas and even digitally. So stop attacking the honest artists and harass the ones who are actually stealing.

What people who say this don't understand is that a lot of the animated shows/movies that they watch, they are not created by one person. There is usually someone who draws the line art, cleans up the line art, colors the line art, shades, animates and so on. The same thing with comics, manga, picture books and most other forms of animated characters. So for one or two people to carry on the work of an entire team, I would say that is pretty talented.

I agree, although, with my animal pictures that I use bases/line art for, because I suck at drawing animals, I don't shade and spend like, ten minutes on them. But that's only because they mainly go with a story, and I want people to pay attention to that, and not the picture.

But for my dolls, I spend hours on them, and I'm so..... OCD, about how they look. >>

I can draw well when not on the computer but then I cant on paint which is the only way i can do it on the computer, ill try not to ALWAYS use bases and sometimes use original work. But I find it fun putting my own twist on the bases and making them different.

They're also this thing called stolen art.
Just because you use a bunch of time and "skill" on it doesn't make it art. It's really just glorified traced artwork. Nice try though.

It isn't stealing if you get permission from the original owner.
